Time to share a couple of impressions from our wonderful NWE section meeting in Leuven, organised by Tom, Viviana, Helena, Anneline, Kamiel, and colleagues. Thank you for your hard work and dedication!
Congratulations to Dylan Thatcher and Alexis Gkantiragas for winning the prizes for best student talks, and to Cassandra Uthoff and Annie Joseph for being awarded best poster prizes. Bravo!

We are happy to announce that the Winter Meeting of the North-West European Section of the IUSSI will take place on 18–19 December 2025, in Leuven, Belgium. Confirmed plenary speakers: Ido Pen from the University of Groningen and Rahia Mashoodh from University College London.

The conference will start in the morning of the 18th, at ~9am, and end in the afternoon of the 19th, at ~4pm.
This year’s meeting will be hybrid & hosted by the Laboratory of Socioecology and Social Evolution (LSSE) at KU Leuven, Belgium.
